Grow Your Business
The Microbusiness Enterprise Center (MBEC) was created in August 1990 as a small business incubator to provide resources and a facility to stimulate small business formation, growth, and survival. A business incubator’s main goal is to produce successful firms that will leave the program financially viable and freestanding. These incubator graduates have the potential to create jobs, revitalize neighborhoods, commercialize new technologies, and strengthen local and national economies. Currently, we house over 20 companies that offer a wide range of services and products. Since our inception in 1990, we have graduated several successful companies that continue to have a strong presence in the business community. The MBEC nurtures small business growth by providing office space, business consulting, and a variety of other services. We take pride in our companies and our companies take pride in the quality of their products, and look forward to serving customer needs.

WhyMBEC?The Microbusiness Enterprise Center is a facility that aids the early-stage growth of companies by providing rental space, shared office services, and business consulting assistance. Located in Downtown Albany, Georgia, MBEC companies have first-hand access to a diverse consumer market and a network of other businesses and organizations. In addition to being in a great location for business, MBEC offers rental rates remarkably below fair market value. Also, small business incubators reduce the risk of small business failures. Historically, incubators have reported that 87 percent of all firms that have graduated from their programs are still in business. Let MBEC increase your chances of success.
